Timeline and What to Expect
Construction is set to begin in the Spring of 2025. Once we receive your completed service application, we will contact you for the initial phase of the project. We will be in touch with you at different points throughout the construction process to keep you updated on the project’s progress.
Phase One: On-Site Visit
We will reach out to you and schedule an on-site visit to discuss a route to bury the fiber cable to your house or building, the placement of an ONT (Optical Network Terminal) and the conduit into the house or building, and the ideal location for the electronic equipment inside the house or place of business.
Phase Two: Construction and Connection
Throughout this phase, Runestone Telecom will be splicing the fiber-optic cable as needed to activate and complete the network for new connection sites.
Phase Three: Service Turn Up
If you’ve chosen to subscribe to high-speed Internet through Runestone Telecom, we will schedule a second on-site visit to install the electronic equipment, complete basic wiring inside the house or business, and connect and test your new service.
